Terms and Conditions for Charity Sport Tournaments

Welcome to Play for Charity Sports! These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and participation in our sports tournaments. By accessing our site or registering for any event, you agree to comply with these terms.
1. General Terms

Play for Charity Sports organizes sports tournaments with the goal of donating profits to CHEP, Inc., a charitable organization.

Participation in any event requires compliance with these Terms and any additional event-specific rules.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
2. Eligibility

Tournaments are open to individuals of all skill levels unless otherwise specified.

All teams must complete the registration process before participating.

Participants must sign a waiver, acknowledging they are fit to play and assume responsibility for their own safety during the tournament.

Play for Charity Sports reserves the right to refuse participation to any individual or team at its discretion.

2. Registration and Fees

To register, participants must fill out the registration form and submit the associated entry fee, if applicable.

Registration fees are non-refundable unless an event is canceled by Play for Charity Sports.

Any changes to registration or team composition must be approved by event organizers.
3. Donations & Charity Contributions

A portion of all proceeds will be donated to CHEP, Inc. to support its charitable initiatives.

Specific donation breakdowns may be provided on a per-event basis.

Play for Charity Sports does not guarantee tax deductions for participation fees or donations; consult a tax professional for guidance.
4. Tournament Format

The tournament will vary per event. Rules will be displayed on the tournament event page.

Participants agree to be present at their designated game times and locations and understand that failure to do so may result in disqualification.
5. Code of Conduct

All participants, including players, coaches, and spectators, must adhere to the highest standards of sportsmanship.

Any form of disrespect, discrimination, or harmful behavior toward others will not be tolerated and may result in immediate disqualification from the event.

The use of illegal substances, alcohol, or any form of doping is strictly prohibited.

Participants must respect the event organizers, volunteers, and other participants throughout the event.

Play for Charity Sports reserves the right to remove any participant violating these rules.
6. Liability Waiver

By participating in the tournament, participants acknowledge and accept the risks associated with physical activity and sports.

Participants agree to release and hold harmless the event organizers, sponsors, and any affiliated parties from any claims, damages, or losses arising from injury, loss, or damage during the event.

Participants are responsible for their own insurance coverage.

Participants must complete their tournament waiver in order to participate in tournament.
6. Intellectual Property

All content, logos, and branding on this website are the property of Play for Charity Sports.

Unauthorized use of our intellectual property is strictly prohibited.
7. Photographs and Media Release

By participating in a tournament, you agree to allow the event organizers to take and use photographs, video recordings, and other media of you during the event.

These materials may be used for promotional purposes, including but not limited to marketing, social media, and event reporting.
8. Cancellation or Postponement

In the event of unforeseen circumstances (e.g., weather conditions, emergencies), the tournament may be canceled or postponed.

Participants will be notified of any changes as early as possible, and registration fees may be refunded or credited, depending on the situation.
9. dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from participation in our events shall be resolved through mediation before legal action.

Legal jurisdiction shall be Cecil County, Maryland.
10. Amendments to Terms

The event organizers reserve the right to amend or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to participants prior to the event.
